Workout Plan: Cardio Magic

Purpose: To improve cardiovascular endurance, increase lower body strength, and engage the core muscles.

Warm Up:

2 rounds:

  • 200m run
  • 2 walk outs
  • 3/3 hip openers
  • 10 seated side to side
  • 10 scorpion tails

Part A: Magic

Measure: Rounds

40min AMRAP

A.

  • Hill run (cardio exercise)
  • 20 alt box step ups (lower body exercise)
  • 20 toe taps (cardio exercise)
  • 20 Russian twists (core exercise)
  • 20m farmer carry (1 x KB) (lower body exercise)

B.

  • 20 rower hammy curls (lower body exercise)
  • 20 toe taps (cardio exercise)
  • 20 Russian twists (core exercise)
  • 20m farmer carry (1 x KB) (lower body exercise)
  • Hill run (cardio exercise)

Muscle Groups:

  • Cardio: Hill runs, toe taps, and rower hammy curls are cardio exercises that target the lower body muscles, improve cardiovascular endurance, and burn calories.
  • Lower body: Hill runs, alt box step ups, farmer carry, and rower hammy curls engage the lower body muscles, including the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and calves, for strength and endurance.
  • Core: Russian twists engage the abdominal muscles and obliques for stability and core strength.

This workout plan targets the cardiovascular system, lower body muscles, and core muscles.
